San Francisco-based Raging Stallion Studios resigned its top two performers, Angelo Marconi and Austin Wilde, to exclusive performance contracts for the 2010-2011 production season during the just held Phoenix Forum. Both stars, along with a gaggle of young men from FabScout Entertainment, represented Raging Stallion at the recently held industry event.
"Austin and Angelo are my top performers," said RSS president Chris Ward. "Both men represent what it means to be a Raging Stallion star--tall, dark, muscular, and handsome! The fact that they have 16 pack abs and about 18 inches between them doesn't hurt! But seriously, these are delightful men and I am really grateful that they both want to stay with Raging Stallion for another year."
Austin Wilde shares the title 2010 RSS Man of the Year with Superstar David Taylor. Both Angelo and Austin are featured players in the recently released Tales of the Arabian Nights (both men perform in part two of the film). They both have shot several scenes together, including on a recent shoot in Argentina directed by Ben Leon. Both men appear on the box cover of the upcoming film, Heat of The Moment. Heat of the Moment will be released in late May.

Porn in Print: A memorium! Part 1

We are holding a memorial for the fall of one the last of the great American porn magazines. Unzipped/Men Magazine, finally folded and with it some of our pending stories of interest, cold on the printing press before they even ran.
Some of us who grew up with magazines, we'll miss the magazine experience of course. Having something tangible to hold, to roll up and stuff under our mattresses. The pages stuck together.
Magazines were my early sex life as a teenager. I remember the weekend when my mother found my stack of Men Magazines under my bed in 1988. Al Parker was on one cover and Bruno (classic 1970s Bruno) on another, both were making a come back. And I was in so much fuckin' trouble! But for some reason she let me keep them, (shrug). She stopped cleaning my room after that.
It is almost surreal that, all grown up, I would turn out to be one of those guys on the cover of my favorite magazines. Landing my first Unzipped cover in the first few months of starting this business, and again years later- the Hairy Men special. It makes me a little sad to think the performers coming up behind me, you know- the ones born in 1988, they wont get covers.
Its hard to imagine a world without magazines... but the future is here. Websites, Blogs and Vlogs have almost completely replaced the paper dinosaur in the gay adult world. Likewise Unzipped has now rolled over into MenMachine.com, all that you loved in print is now online! The pictures are moving and talking and practically breathing now, and sure that's exciting!
All the same, today I'm nostalgic for an era that's passing us by. I'll miss the quiet simplicity of a photograph in my hands. I'll miss new discoveries and the smell of fresh ink on glossy pages. I'll miss my old favorites on tattered pages, ear marked and jizzed on. Goodbye covermodels... goodbye centerfolds, sad to see you go!
