Lifetime Exclusive, Ricky Sinz Releases House Music Album

Multiple-award-winning Raging Stallion Lifetime Exclusive, Ricky "The Hammer" Sinz has been a DJ since he was in his late teens. Now, he’s releasing his first full album called A House Divided, a digital journey through the sounds of Chicago's underground house music scene, whether it's deep house to revitalize your mind, or soulful house to uplift your spirit, these 14 original tracks serve up a recipe to keep you moving.

After getting established in the scene with several resident DJ gigs, Sinz joined the Army and moved around quite a bit so he couldn’t travel and dropped off the scene. He got back to the turntables about three years ago DJ-ing occasionally and putting out remixes, but in the past year he has been hitting the scene very hard, and he is a resident DJ at several clubs across the U.S. and in Europe.

You may have seen him during International Mister Leather at his Forsaken party or The War Party with Frankie Knuckles and David Harness. Fresh off playing at Hustlaball in London, Sinz scored a deal with Europe's largest event label called Salvation, who operate in 55 countries. They will be making their US debut here in Chicago for Gay Pride at V-Live, where Sinz will be playing with headliners Tony Moran and Tracy Young.

Sinz has made beats for several major artists and recently has done remixes for Lay Records and White Beard Records, as well as scoring music for mainstream films, video games, advertising campaigns, and commercials. Making music has always been a hobby of his, but his focus is on music that isn’t necessarily focused on what’s going to make money, but what is going to reach out to people and make them feel good.

“To me House music is a spiritual thing. I am a total House music junkie, and I work in clubs not only as a DJ, but also as a dancer and performer and when I go out for fun I go to clubs that play good soulful house music, and I can just dance the night away to uplifting music,” states Sinz. “This album is a blend of soulful house music, tech house, and a true jazzy Chicago house style that is feel good and uplifting. To be able to share that uplifting feeling with the world is an honor.”
